Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health that focuses on understanding the whole person -including diet, lifestyle, environment, and emotional wellbeing — to create personalised treatment plans that support balance and vitality.

It blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional natural medicine to uncover and treat the root causes of illness, rather than just easing the symptoms.

Naturopathic therapies may include herbal medicine, nutrition, lifestyle guidance, and nutritional supplementation, all tailored to each individual’s needs and current capacity.

The consultation process

Inital consultation

Your first consultation is a gentle, unhurried space for us to get to know each other and understand your health story in depth. We’ll explore your current concerns, your medical history, lifestyle, nutrition, environment, and anything else that may be shaping your wellbeing. We’ll also discuss your goals — what you hope to feel, change, or achieve — so we can move in a direction that genuinely matters to you.

If we’re working with a child, I take extra care to help them feel relaxed and included, using age-appropriate questions and a calm, friendly approach.

Together, we’ll identify the underlying factors contributing to your symptoms and begin to map out a personalised plan. This may include nutrition guidance, herbal medicine, lifestyle suggestions, and simple shifts to support the body’s natural healing processes. If appropriate, we can also talk about any functional testing that may offer deeper insight and help guide your care more precisely.

I always explain the “why” behind each recommendation, so everything feels clear, achievable, and grounded.

By the end of your initial appointment, you’ll leave with a sense of direction, support, and a plan that’s realistic for you and your family — never overwhelming or restrictive.

Follow-up consultations

Follow-up appointments give us a chance to review your progress, address any new concerns, and fine-tune your personalised plan. We’ll discuss how your body is responding to nutrition, lifestyle changes, herbal medicine, or other recommendations, and make adjustments to support your goals.

If any functional testing has been done, we’ll review the results together and use them to guide the next steps in your care. These appointments are collaborative, practical, and designed to help you stay on track without feeling overwhelmed.

Follow-ups are also an opportunity to answer questions, explore new strategies, and celebrate the small wins that make a big difference in your wellbeing journey.

The wellness plan

Your wellness plan will be available after for initial consultation and may be updated after follow up consultations. This is individual plan is specific for you based on your health history, capacity and goals. Recommendations are designed to work together and could involve the following

Nutrition

Nutrition is a key part of every personalised wellness plan. I look at your current diet, lifestyle, and health goals, then offer practical, achievable changes that support your body’s natural healing processes. These recommendations may include specific foods to focus on, simple swaps to improve nutrient intake, and guidance around meal balance to help you feel your best. My aim is to make nutrition feel supportive, sustainable, and tailored uniquely to you.

Herbal medicine

Herbal medicine offers gentle, effective support by working with your body’s own healing rhythms. Using high-quality liquid extracts, teas, creams or capsules, I create personalised herbal formulas based on your unique symptoms, health history, and goals. These blends can help restore balance, ease discomfort, and strengthen overall wellbeing. Each prescription is carefully tailored to be safe, supportive, and aligned with the rest of your wellness plan.

Lifestyle changes

Lifestyle guidance forms an essential part of your wellness plan, helping create daily habits that gently support long-term health. This may include simple adjustments to sleep, stress management, movement, or daily routines—always tailored to your capacity and stage of life. These recommendations are practical, realistic, and designed to complement your nutrition and herbal plan, helping you feel more balanced, energised, and supported in everyday life.

Nutritional supplementation

Nutritional supplements can offer targeted support when your body needs an extra boost. I only recommend supplements when they are truly beneficial—whether to correct deficiencies, support recovery, or enhance specific areas of health. Each supplement is chosen carefully based on your symptoms, test results, and individual goals, ensuring you receive the right nutrients in the right amounts. Supplementation is always used to complement, not replace, a nourishing diet and balanced lifestyle.

Functional testing

Functional testing can provide deeper insight into what’s happening beneath the surface of your health. When needed, I may recommend targeted tests—such as gut health, hormone, nutrient, or allergy panels—to help identify underlying imbalances and guide a more precise treatment plan. These tests aren’t always necessary, but they can offer valuable clarity when symptoms are persistent or unclear. My goal is to use testing thoughtfully, ensuring any recommendations are purposeful, practical, and aligned with your wellbeing journey.
